About Us

      Claudia's Kids Care began as a family daycare in 1973.  Women's Lib, the need for more women in the workforce and lack of day cares enabled Claudia Bowling to offer care in her home.  Her love, warmth and enthusiasm to help children learn, grow, and to have the right to simply be all they can be made her a success.  By word of mouth, and recognition from the teachers of the community, her family day care was always filled with happy, smiling children.  Parents were happy too, knowing their children were safe, secure, clean, learning, disciplined (with love) and most importantly- nurtured. As the need for child care grew in 1992, Claudia brought St. Therese Convent because it was homey, and had a big backyard where kids could run, jump, imagine, discover and have lots of fun!  After years of renovating and convincing the city of the need for more day care centers, Claudia's Kids Care became licensed December 18, 2001.

 

     In May of 2018 Claudia Bowling retired and sold the business to a couple. Munaza & Amir bought CKC. Munaza has been in child care for over 13 years. Her husband Amir is a engineer. They own another center in Texas as well. They reside in Columbus, OH. Munaza works as an administrator for another center in Columbus, OH. CKC's Director is Cortney Hurley who has 14 + Years of ECE experience and an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Cortney came to work for CKC on January 22, 2018.
